It’s Spring Cleaning time at Powerhouse and we need your help clearing the shelves! Please join us as we open the doors to our creative studio for our annual Powerhouse Spring Fling Poster Sling Friday, May 20th, 2011 from 6 PM – Midnight, featuring musical performances by local indie rock favorites, Bad Veins.
This event is free, open to the public, and all proceeds from the evening’s sales will benefit our dear friend, Ali Nunery, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer. We invite you to share your support for her, Ben, and Olivia by purchasing benefit T- shirts or any of our half-off selected prints and apparel to help the Nunerys through this financially difficult period.
We will offer a ‘Buy One Get One Half Off’ deal on the entire Powerhouse collection, along with seasonal beverages to enjoy while you browse. Peruse our selection of classic Powerhouse rock posters, plus tons of new work featuring the likes of Girl Talk, Bassnectar, The Greenhornes and more. All prints on display will be available for purchase with prices ranging from $10-$50. Framed posters start at $100.
From 9pm – 10pm, Bad Veins will perform on our outdoor patio overlooking beautiful Newport, and we will provide cold beverages, light snacks, and good vibes for your entertainment.
