Earlier today our good friends Soft Swells stopped by the office and played a couple of songs for us on their way to play a gig at The Basement in Nashville. They are currently on tour in support of their latest album Floodlights released on Modern Outsider Records.

Check out photos from their in office performance and part 2 of their SXSW Powerhouse Live Session after the jump.

During our trip to SXSW back in March, Tim Williams, of the LA-based band dropped by our apartment pool to record a Powerhouse Factories Live session.

For the second part of the session, Tim played unreleased stripped down versions of ‘GO!’ and ‘Life Without Love’ off the aforementioned September 2014 release Floodlights. You can find part one in our blog post here.

We strongly suggest you support your local record store and pick up the new album on vinyl or CD but if that’s not your jam then here are few options for picking it up off the interwebs.

iTunes | Vinyl/CD | Amazon MP3

Catch them as they swing through a town near you on their way back to LA. Check
here for tour dates.
