Powerhouse Factories Live—COIN Records Session at our Creative Studio

By | Life at Powerhouse, Powerhouse Print Shop | No Comments

This week’s Powerhouse Live series features up-and-coming synth-pop group out of Nashville, COIN. They stopped by our shop right before the start of their tour with Passion Pit. Keep a lookout for them this summer—not only does their album arrive in a couple of weeks, but they’ll be back on the road with Betty Who and Neon Trees.

Watch a stripped-down version of their single, Run, as well as their take on Simon & Garfunkel’s Cecilia. Enjoy!

We’re very happy to release this week’s Powerhouse Live session from way back at MidPoint Music Festival 2014 here in Cincinnati. Ohio’s own Saintseneca stopped by the Powerhouse Live Lounge to hang out, borrow some wifi and treat us to two amazing stripped-down versions of Fed Up With Hunger and Takmit.

Hey What’s Good In? — a website and self-proclaimed resource guide for “creative people who want to learn about and contribute to good things in their city” — recently debuted their guide for Cincinnati. The site compiled a list of the raddest local non-profits, organizations, meet up opportunities, workspaces, media outlets and creative studios — and we made the cut! We found ourselves in good company with Neltner Small Batch, BLDG and TommyInk, among many other kick-ass creative houses here in the Queen City. Check out the full list over at HWGI? here.
