Andy Hogan has joined Powerhouse Factories to lead the Analytics practice in order to prepare for growth in this rapidly expanding area. Hogan left Nielsen BASES to join Powerhouse in September with more than nine years of analytics experience. He will combine his passion for making the right data meaningful and actionable with Powerhouse’s vision to help brands offer consumers an omni-channel experience.
Hogan says, “Our goal at Powerhouse is to address consumers with a seamless brand story and experience across a growing spectrum of channels and devices.” In order to do this, Hogan and his team will go beyond measuring media and advertising and will analyze operations, merchandizing and marketing data. “We need to look at the whole consumer behavior continuum,” notes Hogan.
Nancy Koors, Powerhouse COO and president, is confident that bringing Hogan on will translate into fast strides for the agency and their clients to cracking the omni-channel code. “Analytics and data understanding are becoming increasingly critical to brand-building success. Andy brings knowledge and expertise in both disciplines,” Koors said.
The cultural fit was equally important to Hogan in choosing his next career path. Powerhouse fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration and openness to think outside the black box he had been confined to in his previous positions. “I want to make an impact in the industry, move the needle and stretch the boundaries of how we leverage data to build brands. I can do this at Powerhouse,” said Hogan.
Hogan earned a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
